Debbi Smith, founder and president of Marketing and Management Solutions, LLC, has 22 years of marketing and public relations experience. She has completed the Campaign Management Institute, a nationally recognized master's level program of the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies at American University in Washington, DC. She is a graduate of the Media Buying Academy and holds a Bachelor's degree in marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University.
With extensive expertise in the political arena, she has successfully managed and served as strategic consultant for numerous political candidates and issue campaigns and is proud of a win/loss record exceeding 90 percent. Debbi has also been elected to serve as a delegate to the State Democrat Convention.
Debbi recently received the Spirit of St. Tammany Award from the St. Tammany Tourist and Convention Commission and it is named in her honor. She received the Public Relations Society of America Award of Excellence for the graphic design and creation of marketing literature.
Community leadership includes serving as a board member of the Tammany Trace Foundation and is a member of the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce. She is the past chairman of the St. Tammany Tourist and Convention Commission. She has received commendation for dedicated service to the Lacombe Fire Department. She has also been a member of the Ad Club of New Orleans, the Northshore Advertising Federation, Public Relations Society of America and the American Marketing Association.
